WAKONDA CLUB

The oldest country club in Des Moines required a complete renovation & expansion. Lacking much architectural character, the original building was given a new more “Prairie School” aesthetic with large overhangs & various horizontal expressions on its exterior. We also did all the interiors using various wood species, wall coverings, active ceiling plans, & compatible furnishings. Project received an AIA Central States Design Award.
